Hello there.
I've been thinking about my strategy last days. I mean, I have a game with +10M downloads (Hill Racing game), thats a lot of downloads and users. I think that developing my Bubble Shooter game has been a very big mistake (talking in terms of business. I've learned a lot of things and developed systems that I can now re-use). There are THOUSANDS of games using the same concept. I don't think I can do anything against them... and I'm getting only about 50 organic downloads a day once I've stopped the promotion, I can allready consider it a failure.
The same I can say with the multi arcade game. I mean, my users like Hill Racing, so I think I should give them more Hill Racing, that simple.
So I think I could make a sequel:
First I'm using the same engine, so half the work is allready done.
There will be a new graphic style (with more animations, animated backgrounds, particles, effects...) customisation of vehicles (colors, stickers...) and drivers (male, female, hair, skin color...)
Also I'd like to add a multiplayer game. That's something I've thinking about and I find it interesting. I have allready something in mind that I think should work...
And, it's too soon, but here is a mockup of the style. Still trying to find the correct graphics, but I just wanted to show some picture :)

BTW. I'm not stopping the development of the arcade game. I'll find how to manage it. It's been a lot of hours involved and I think it has some potential...

It's good to take a step back and look at what you're doing and change direction when required. MY two boys love your hill racing game. It will be great to see a sequel. I always thought there were opportunities to make more revenue from this game, with IAPs, but I understand if you want to avoid annoying players with ads or purchases.

Good luck with the development and looking forward to seeing how it goes.

It's still too soon but I'd like to show you the first gameplay footage of this game

I've changed the graphic style from the original . I've added dials for the fuel and rpm, and the game has a 3d effect now. I've added a shadow to the vehicle (soft shadow, still testing) If I didn't add it the vehicle looked weird, like it was floating. I've managed to do some raycasting to make the projection look ok. If the vehicle gets some height the shadow starts to become less visible. Also changed the parallax "engine" here.
The vehicle is the same from the first game. I think I'll keep it, with some little modifications. But in this one I'll add vehicle and character customisation. Still working on the graphic side
I'm very excited on this game. The "adventure" mode will be the same I have in the first game, but I really want to start the multiplayer part, as I think it will be fun :)
